Rehabilitation Consultant – Occupational Therapist

The Role

As a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist, you will leverage your clinical expertise to support and guide your clients on their journey back to work and life after physical or psychological injury. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals through a holistic approach.

In this role, you will:

  • Apply your clinical skills across various schemes including icare, CTP, non-comp Corporate, and Government functional education and training.
  • Collaborate with CTP insurers on complex injuries, discharge planning, and return-to-work (RTW) strategies.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to foster relationships and achieve recovery outcomes.
  • Utilize award-winning psychosocial risk tools to facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time engaging with medical professionals, employers, and clients in person.

  • Professional Registration with AHPRA.
  • Strong client focus and the ability to build relationships with diverse individuals.
  • A current or the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.
