APM Employment Services is searching for a State Manager to lead and oversee the Disability Employment Services operations across Western Australia.
As a State Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated employees, developing strategic initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high quality, compliant services to our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality people and performance leadership to the Western Australian DES team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the WA Employment Services market.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, employers, community organisations and educational institutions.
Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and participant feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of service quality and ethical conduct.
Drive performance metrics, including participant outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance to meet or exceed targets.
Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification in relevant field
Extensive leadership experience within the Employment Services industry (preferably DES), with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of government funded employment programs and services, including knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans to achieve organisational goals.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
Highly organised and detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
