APM’s mission is to enable better lives and our people do this each and every day through the work they do with clients and communities all over the world.

At APM, we have a unique opportunity to provide leadership in the human services sector. Our role, and our impact, can be even greater by partnering with organisations and individuals to help drive positive and lasting change on important priorities in the communities where we work.

Partnering up for an inclusive society

In a great example of partnering for better outcomes, we’ve recently announced a partnership with Ellie Cole OAM, Australia’s most decorated female Paralympian.

As an APM Ambassador, Ellie will work with us to highlight the importance of supporting inclusion and diversity in all aspects of work, sport and recreation.

Her achievements have provided an incredible platform to raise awareness and open a forum for disability inclusion, and in her retirement from swimming we look forward to working with her to support disabled and disadvantaged Australians in finding fulfilling employment.

Hear what the partnership means to Ellie.

Going from strength to strength

Ellie’s appointment as ambassador follows APM signing a three-year partnership with Hockey Australia as the Major Partner of the Hockeyroos, Official Partner of the Kookaburras, and Exclusive Category Partner - Disability Service Provider.

The partnership will see an increase in all-ability hockey sessions, particularly pre-international hockey matches, along with fast-tracking Hockey Australia’s inclusive hockey program footprint.

APM is also proud sponsor of the SANFL Inclusive League, made up of more than 150 players with an intellectual disability aged 15 and over. The focus is on the development of players and their social inclusion at community football clubs.

Giving back where it’s needed the most

Since 1994, APM has supported greater diversity and inclusiveness across the community through our core businesses. Including supporting people with a disability to achieve sustainable employment and enhancing an individual’s employability, health and wellbeing, and social and economic participation in their community.

Building these relationships gives APM the opportunity to provide leadership and support to drive change and shine a light on the positive impact that an inclusive society can have on the Australian community and business.

At APM, we love working with our partners and seeing the positive influence we can have together, where it’s needed the most.
