Find out what life is like at Early Start Australia

Early Start Australia (ESA) is working towards a brighter future for all Australians.

They have a dedicated team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech pathologists, and other specialised therapists at over 50 locations across Australia.

These professionals deliver evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children, young adults and families, to help meet their growth and development goals.

They also provide these services for older people over the ‘young adult’ age bracket at specific clinics around Australia.

The ESA team focuses on supporting clients, and their families, to develop language, motor, cognitive, social and emotional skills, and provide assessments and diagnoses that determine the therapy supports required.

These are done for children and adults with developmental delay or disability, including autism spectrum.

Age is not a barrier to treatment.

Their mission is to enable better lives and help families to navigate what can sometimes be a challenging journey.

A nurturing environment to create positive client outcomes

It takes a special group of people to create brighter futures for children and their families, and ESA is committed to creating a nurturing environment.

This also extends to all ESA team members, fostering both their personal and professional growth.

Here, our team members share what life is like at ESA:

ESA is a great place to work. Here’s why…

With their industry is growing and continually evolving, and ESA is always on the lookout for new team members to help deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients.

Alongside a national network of experts available for ongoing supervision and coaching, ESA offer roles with a huge amount of variety – no two days are the same – and a friendly, well-supported community of practitioners with shared values in our offices across Australia.

Professional development is crucial in the ongoing growth of our people, and so that ESA clients can be confident that they’ll receive the very best of care using the latest research and training available.

While comprehensive training and development resources are provided within ESA, all employees receive a generous professional development allowance to pursue external training in a field that interests them.

They can then use this knowledge to enhance their client offering, and often this has led to new employee- led programs being introduced at ESA.

They offer an industry-leading reward and recognition program to add value to employee achievements.

This includes financial incentives with support to help achieve activity targets including systems, tools and therapy resources.

Unique contributions to ESA are also celebrated at an annual award dinner.

ESA are also dedicated to giving back and supporting the communities where we live and work.

Team members at each clinic spend time volunteering with local organisations to expand upon the work we do each day to make a difference.

Each clinic is also provided with a wellbeing budget to create opportunities for our team members to focus on their own mental or physical health through tailored wellbeing activities.

Don’t just take our word for it

There's no better way to get a sense for who we are and what it's like to be part of the ESA team, than to hear directly from our people. Listen to our people describe about what it’s like to work at ESA and bring meaningful support and services to families across Australia.
