Meet the people of APM: Ben Humphreys

Ben Humphreys is APM WorkCare’s Regional Manager for New South Wales and the ACT, and a registered Rehabilitation Counsellor, overseeing the successful delivery of workplace health and wellbeing programs to businesses in the region, helping to reduce the personal and business impact of workplace injuries and illness through prevention, education, rehabilitation and training.

After studying psychology, Ben’s occupational rehabilitation career began with Interact Injury Management, now part of the APM Group, before moving on to the role of Branch Manager for APM WorkCare in Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra.

“I had a great experience working with three fantastic teams as Branch Manager. The people and the teams I work with are what I enjoy most at APM.

My absolute passion is supporting people and being there to help them succeed. While every role has its challenges, being able to use my initiative, experience, and strategy to support the team is genuinely exciting and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a thriving workforce.”

Even though Ben might be happy to stay at home working on cars (his passion outside of work – he says it’s not a talent, but we’re not sure we believe him – we think Ben would be great at anything he turns his mind to!), he can often be found on the ground in the regions he oversees, supporting  his teams and APM WorkCare’s clients in person.

This is hallmark of APM’s approach to leadership, which Ben has also seen and felt for himself.
