How Holly’s career has grown with APM
Originally from the UK, Holly Kincart loves the lifestyle that Western Australia has to offer, and she has also been enjoying fast-paced career growth since joining APM in 2020.
Holly joined as a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) responsible for supporting the development of NDIS plans. She soon moved into a leadership role as the National Bookings Team Leader, managing the assignment of NDIS participants to LAC team members.
APM recognised the strength of Holly’s leadership skills and she was asked to become a Planning Team Leader for APM Communities in Perth’s North Metro region. Managing a team of 15, Holly enjoys overseeing the assistance that APM provides NDIS participants.
"We have a direct and positive impact for people who require the support of the NDIS. We get to experience the joy of seeing someone’s quality of life improve, sometimes to the point where they feel they no longer require additional supports. It’s moments like that which brighten our day!"
Building skills and knowledge
As if her day job wasn’t busy enough, Holly has been studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management, full-time online.
Through a chance networking opportunity at an APM Leadership Conference, Holly met Saffron Solomon, APM’s General Manager - Marketing, which led to a three-month secondment to the marketing team.
Holly will be working with the social media team, managing APM’s presence in the digital world.
"I feel really fortunate to have been given this opportunity to develop my skills and experience in the area I’ve been studying, while still remaining with APM.
I’m looking forward to gaining more insight into APM’s global operations and I know what I learn will help me to support the growth of APM Communities into the future."
