IT Business Analyst

The Role

A permanent role opportunity has opened within APM Digital Delivery. You will be a vital link to close the gap between digital solutions and business objectives. You will analyse and understand the business goals, needs, issues & requirements, and provide clearly documented information to support the team in delivering valued digital outcomes. This role can be based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Geelong.


In this role you will:

  • Analyse business problems and capture requirements.
  • Build relationships and consult with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver to their requirements.
  • Play a leading role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective and sustainable use of technology.
  • Provide essential contribution and advice to high level planning and execution of business initiatives.
  • Collaborate and assist with change management and testing as part of a team to help in delivering success.

Skills you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated success in project Business Analyst roles for at least 4 years.
  • Hands-on experience in the end-to-end project lifecycle (including requirements analysis / gathering (functional & non-functional), testing & change management, documentation, and support handover).
  • Demonstrated experience to work and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and valuable change management aptitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate business needs, issues and requirements succinctly.
  • Business Analyst qualifications and / or training in requirements management, change management, BA methodologies and process mapping is desirable.
  • Experience with compliance programs and acquisitions is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Prince2 or Agile Methodologies.
