Am I suited to being a Parent & Family Pathway Planner at APM’s Salisbury office?
This position will commence on a part time basis, working 3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm). There will be the opportunity to develop the role into a full time position over time, if you so wish.
Previous experience in ParentsNext is not a must. What we need from you is compassion and positivity and a love for helping others succeed.
Perhaps you have experience or qualifications in youth or disability or Employment Services. This job is all about building long term client relationships and goals and having a passion for family welfare.
Strong knowledge and connections into the local community
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and time management skills
Experience in planning with people to achieve positive outcomes
Ability to set goals, manage a variety of tasks and achieve outcomes
Excellent communication skills
Strong administration and compliance capabilities.
The Role:
As a Parent & Family Pathway Planner, you will provide advocacy, coaching and mentoring to Parents and at times, the whole family, helping them prepare for their eventual return to work or study.
Lead the way in supporting parents to both plan for and create pathways for future growth and development
Liaise with local service providers and community to assist parents effectively prepare for a return to work or study
Engage in networking activities to strengthen relationships with local business and community groups
Effectively administer the delivery of APM’s contractual service delivery model and plan
Part time permanent position working 22.8 weekly (Wednesday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm).
To be considered, you will have...
Eligibility to work in Australia
A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Willing to complete a Criminal History Check and able to pass a Working with Children Check.
