The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners to join our Hindmarsh clinic . This role offers the chance to work within our state-of-the-art clinic space, as well as in client homes, schools, and via telehealth. You will collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional Positive Behaviour Support to a paediatric caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments.
• Develop person-centred, evidence-informed behaviour support plans.
• Train and support families and other stakeholders in implementing behaviour support strategies to address behaviours of concern.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other PBS practitioners.

What You Need:

• A strong passion for supporting children and families with behaviours of concern.
• Registration with the NDIS Commission as a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Relevant allied health qualification and/or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing behaviour support plans.
• Understanding of restrictive practices and associated reporting requirements.
• Required compliance documentation: National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License, and Vehicle.
• Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities, and confidence in engaging with children and their families.
