The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners to join our Hindmarsh clinic . This role offers the chance to work within our state-of-the-art clinic space, as well as in client homes, schools, and via telehealth. You will collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional Positive Behaviour Support to a paediatric caseload.
Develop person-centred, evidence-informed behaviour support plans.
Train and support families and other stakeholders in implementing behaviour support strategies to address behaviours of concern.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies.
Provide supervision and guidance to other PBS practitioners.
What You Need:
A strong passion for supporting children and families with behaviours of concern.
Registration with the NDIS Commission as a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Relevant allied health qualification and/or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing behaviour support plans.
Understanding of restrictive practices and associated reporting requirements.
Required compliance documentation: National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s License, and Vehicle.
Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities, and confidence in engaging with children and their families.
