Delaney is a rehabilitation consultant at Konekt Workcare. In this video, Delaney talks about her career path from qualifying as a clinical exercise physiologist through, workers compensation and rehabilitation, then into rehabilitation consulting. She also describes what a typical week is like on the job and the feeling she gets from supporting people at the beginning of their rehabilitation program, working through it with them and being there for the milestones along the way.
Clinical exercise physiologist, Cale, uses experience and knowledge to help people return to work safely, and continue to better themselves even after they have reached their goal. His role provides him the opportunity to travel around Australia, and being part of a large organisation opens many opportunities to learn, progress and grow. Cale's role is flexible, with the ability to start and finish early, so he can spend more quality time with partner and dog.
Julia has been with APM for 8 years, starting as a graduate, working on the Australian Defence Force contract, and now working in general occupational rehabilitation as a senior consultant. In this video, Julia describes a typical week on the role and how she relies on her clinical thinking to be successful.
