ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

Our personal injury division provides services through federal and state-based Workers Compensations, Motor Accident Schemes and Life Insurance.

- Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
- Work across ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting our Veterans and current ADF members.
Based at HMAS Stirling in Garden Island, you will enjoy a unique and exciting work environment.
What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
- Clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- 12 months registered work experience in your tertiary qualified health profession
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to work on base between the hours of 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
