Massage Therapist

About the role

Lifecare Northern Sports Physiotherapy are recruiting a remedial massage therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are a well established clinic located in the health hub area of St Leonards. You will be taking over an existing caseload of remedial and sports massage clients.

You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team including Physiotherapists and an Exercise Physiologist.

In this role you will be...

  • Either a casual or permanent part time employee or contractor with ACN
  • Start date ASAP
  • Initially 6 – 8 hours per week over two shift with option to build hours
  • Competitive hourly rate and overtime rates apply  
  • Ideally Friday afternoon and Saturday coverage but can be flexible on days and times
  • Taking over an established caseload
  • Receiving referrals from our physio and EP team and referring back to our team when indicated
  • Receiving full admin support with rebookings and billings
  • Assessing symptoms and medical history, making diagnoses and treatment plans autonomously
  • Utilising your range of skills as a remedial massage therapist and education to a diverse patient population
  • Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress using our Nookal platform
