We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Accountant to be part of high‑quality financial reporting, maintain robust internal controls, and guide a high-performing accounting team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
About the role
As an Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring all financial and management reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard, as well as supporting on-going process improvements.
You will partner with senior leaders, external auditors, advisors, suppliers, and Group Finance to deliver exceptional financial governance and financial reporting in support of driving APM performance.
This role requires exceptional technical accounting skills and qualifications partnered with strong leadership and transformation experience as APM finance is on an improvement journey of defining and implementing best practice finance systems, process and culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Month end and year end accounting
- Key point of contact with business units and wider finance team to provide detail and support as required.
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting external auditors and tax advisors
- Assistance with special purpose and statutory accounts
- Develop processes to ensure strong internal controls.
- Assistance with other administrative matters and ad-hoc projects as required.
What you’ll bring
- CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years post‑qualification experience
- Deep understanding of accounting processes and IFRS application
- A proactive, adaptable “can‑do” attitude
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- High degree of self‑motivation and resilience
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
