ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

• Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
• Working with your clients develop, implement and monitor their rehabilitation plans. Provide ongoing support as they return to the same job or source new employment
• Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
• Report writing, reviewing medical files and maintaining case notes through, providing a high quality case management service

Truly immerse in the ADF experience. A unique work setting you will be located “on-base.” Work hours include 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday at Lavarack Barracks - no billable KPI's, purely person centred support.

What will make you successful:

• Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing
• Clinical reasoning demonstrable through a minimum of 12 months experience in your registered profession
• Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
• Passion to help people rehabilitate
• Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable
