Rehabilitation Consultant NES

The role

Working full-time or part-time as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be using your clinical expertise and skills to guide and manage your client’s journey as they return to daily life after physical or psychological injury. You will influence your clients to achieve the results that they’ve identified through a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.

In this role, you’ll be….

  • Performing vocational assessments both face to face and virtually
  • Supporting clients to achieve return to work goals
  • Providing non-comp or claim related psychological and psychosocial support to large corporate and Govt customers
  • Managing complex psychological cases
  • Use award winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve great outcomes

Your focus is on achieving effective outcomes for your clients which can be achieved through teleconference, employer visits, worksite meetings, client visits or over the phone.

What we are looking for:

  • Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work and Psychology (Provisional or Full)
  • Full or associate registration and membership with ASORC
  • Full registration with APHRA or AASW.
  • Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
  • Have a current WWCC (Working with children check)   
  • Have full Australian working rights 
  • Hold a full drivers’ license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
