Business Intelligence Analyst
The Role
The People & Culture Business Intelligence Analyst plays a central role in supporting the People Systems and Analytics team in delivering best practice reporting, data and analytics, utilising information to support the employment lifecycle. This is a fixed-term full-time contract until November 2026, with the opportunity for extension, working from our Brisbane CBD office on a hybrid basis.
In this role you will:
- Build, maintain and continuously improve P&C Power BI dashboards
- Support the interpretation of data and reporting requirements for the People & Culture team and business to undercover people trends
- Identify data and intelligence gaps and partner with Digital to ensure the creation of fit-for-purpose data models
- Develop automated tools and processes that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Build and maintain ETL processes and people data warehouse architecture
Skills you’ll bring:
- 2+ years experience in data analytics, preferably within People & Culture
- Advanced SQL proficiency with strong hands-on experience in Power BI and Power Query
- Background in data warehousing, data modelling, ETL processes, and BI concepts
- Experience developing data solutions using Microsoft 365 products including SharePoint, Lists and Power Automate
- Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations that support strategic decisions and continuous improvement
