About the Role

As a Business Manager within our Inclusive Employment Australia team, you’ll lead a dedicated group of Employment Consultants to deliver life-changing employment outcomes for job seekers. You’ll drive performance, support your team, and strengthen local partnerships that create real opportunities.

The sites that the Business Manager will be managing include Ravenshoe, Atherton, Malanda, Mareeba, Innisfail, Tully, Wongaling Beach and Cardwell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Employment Consultants to exceed performance targets.

  • Ensure compliance with Inclusive Employment Australia contractual obligations.

  • Build strong relationships with employers, community groups and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and report on site performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Foster a positive culture that supports inclusion, accountability and success.

Capabilities & Experience

  • Employment Services experience or clearly demonstrated transferable skills.

  • People leadership exposure and understanding.

  • Strong knowledge of Inclusive Employment Australia or related government programs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.

  • Ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

  • Proven experience in high-performance settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.

  • Eligibility to meet legislative requirements for Employment Services clearance.

To Be Considered, You Will Have

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

  • A current driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.

  • A Standard-level MyGovID.

  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check.

  • Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.

  • Availability for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.
