Consultant (First Nations)

At Konekt, we know that having strong First Nations voices in our team makes all the difference. We’d love to yarn with you about joining us and the meaningful work we do every day supporting recovery, function and independence.

We’re currently on the lookout for Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Rehab Counsellors or Social Workers to join our team of rehabilitation consultants in Darwin.

This position is identified for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and is intended to constitute a special measure under section 8 (1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), and section 57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1996 (NT).

Since 1992, we’ve been supporting Australians return to work, recover from injury, and re-engage with their social and community life. Now one of Australia’s largest providers of injury prevention, injury management and workplace wellbeing services, we deliver the highest level of care and services to over 30,000 people annually. We’re constantly rethinking and evolving how we can better support people and organisations, to change how they think about health and safety, and get the very best out of every team member.

How we support our Mob

We’re proud to be walking the reconciliation journey with our Innovate RAP, and we’re lucky to have Karen Griffiths, Head of First Nations, leading the way and driving real change across our business.

Our deadly First Nations Team member will:

Assist with developing and delivering culturally appropriate programs and services for our First Nations clients to assist them to address the barriers they face in their lives. With a focus on a holistic approach, you will empower our clients and make a real impact on their lives.
