Your role as a Physiotherapy Grad
- Help children achieve their development milestones, such as fine and gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination to help play, school or independent skills (e.g. throwing a ball, getting dressed, improving balance)
- Help children develop mobility skills, e.g. rolling, sitting, crawling and walking
- Help children participate in activities like bike riding and swimming
- Prescribe specialised equipment, e.g. seating, standing frames, walker
- Help with coordination or balance
- Support children with neurological conditions, e.g. cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke and traumatic brain injury
- Support children with genetic conditions, e.g. Down syndrome and achondroplasia
- Support children with low muscle tone
- Support children after surgery or acute injuries for their rehabilitation
- Educate and involve parents, carers and others to facilitate the development of their child
About our Grads
We are looking for Grads who share our passion for making a difference and making therapy a fun, engaging and meaningful experience for families. You are enthusiastic and thrive in an environment that welcomes the fresh ideas you can bring to the wider team.
You will also have:
- A degree in Physiotherapy
- Have graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
- Be eligible for AHPRA registration upon graduating
- Hold a full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain
- Hold a clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain
- Hold a NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain
- Hold a First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain
