Program Manager
APM is a fast-growing International Human Services provider with over 30 years in the industry. The Digital ANZ team consists of over 300 staff in the APAC region and over 380 globally assisting APM group to make a difference in the community by delivering quality outputs to support our frontline staff to enable better lives.
The Role
As the Digital Program manager based in either one of our tech hubs (Sydney, West Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne or Geelong) reporting to the General Manager, Digital Strategy, Investment and Performance on a 12 fixed term contract. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple interrelated projects, understanding dependencies within and outside the program. This is a hands-on delivery position which ensures the delivery of high quality planning and reporting, and management to achieve the programs objectives.
In this role you will:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand the pipeline of work and align resources to program priorities.
- Define the program scope and implementation plans in collaboration with key program team members and driver program delivery to agreed timelines.
- Develop and monitor resource plans, ensuring efficient allocation of personnel, time, equipment, and budgets.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with program goals and organizational standards.
Skills you’ll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Contract, ICT, Commerce, or related fields.
- 7+ years’ experience in senior program management roles in an ICT or digital environment, executing transformational, enterprise-wide change.
- Significant experience managing IT infrastructure programs, including cloud-based solutions and migrations.
- Experience delivering programs in regulated environments, including engagement with Cyber Security and Compliance teams to meet information security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to lead multisector programs, ensuring alignment with governance, sequencing, and resource needs, while still meeting delivery commitments.
- Ability to drive process improvement and automation efforts to elevate program outcomes.
- High degree of self-motivation and a proven ability to operate in challenging environments
