- Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
- Work across ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting our Veterans and current ADF members.
We have a number of work arrangements to suit your personal situation/preferences. If you enjoy diversity in your work place we have roles that could see you work across a number of ADF and RAAF bases across the Central Sydney area (with some ability to work from home). If you're someone who prefers something with a less varied landscape, we may be able to accommodate you with a role supporting clients on one specific base only. Defence bases in this area include Kuttabul, Penguin, Waterhen, Randwick and Watson.
What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, Psychology or Social Work
- Clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded as would experience working with the military cohort.
