Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist / Rehab Counsellor

Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Councillor, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work, and help them to reconnect with what matters most.
What you’ll enjoy
Expect your day to be full of variety and real impact where you’ll:
- Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness.
- Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitor progress, adjust plans, and support sustainable outcomes.
- Provide expert advice — functional capacity or return-to-work — based on your clinical specialism.
Build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders: clients, their treating practitioners, employers, insurers — helping bring everyone together around a shared goal of recovery and reintegration

What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
- AHPRA,ASORC professional registration.
- Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
- A current WWCC (Working with children check)
- Full Australian working rights
- A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments and coordinate across stakeholders
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset, accompanied by professional and integrity
And most importantly, a genuine commitment to client-centred care, empathy, strong communication and adaptability cross diverse client needs
