Salesforce Consultant – Make an Impact in Health Services

In this role, you’ll help shape the future of digital health services by supporting and optimising multiple Salesforce organisations across our national network.

About the Role
As our Salesforce Consultant, you’ll be a key member of the Applications Team. You’ll configure, maintain, and support multiple Salesforce orgs tailored to the unique needs of our diverse health business units. Working closely with internal teams and external software vendors, you’ll ensure our platforms are secure, compliant, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will directly contribute to better outcomes for our staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation:
Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, participate in code reviews, and document technical processes. - Data Management:
Ensure data accuracy and integrity, manage data migration strategies, and maintain robust access controls. - User Support:
Troubleshoot Salesforce issues, collaborate with the Applications and IT teams, and escalate complex problems when needed. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for automation and configure Salesforce to streamline operations. - Compliance & Documentation:
Adhere to industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR), follow internal change management procedures, and maintain clear documentation. - Workplace Health & Safety:
Follow WHS policies and report hazards or incidents promptly. - Cultural Competence:
Respect and integrate cultural awareness into your daily work practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and APIs.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer 1, Platform App Builder) preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows.
- Strong data management skills, including migration and cleansing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in healthcare or aged/community care environments is a bonus.
