Youth Support Worker - Deception Bay
APM is continuing its impactful work with the Transition to Work contract, and we are now seeking individuals passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people as a Youth Support Worker in our Deception Bay, Qld office.
As a Youth Support Worker, you will be assessing the needs of the participants, identifying barriers to employment and providing solutions focussed approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.
Secure a start and be on the road for a successful and meaningful change to you and our participants.

Happy to step up and take responsibility, you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact and genuinely help young people on their path to employment. You’re great at building relationships and working with key stakeholders to be able to maximise job opportunities for everyone. You’ll also enjoy helping colleagues so we can achieve great results and make a difference, together.

We welcome those from various backgrounds, including previous experience in Youth & Family Services, Community Services and Employment Services. You will have a strong passion and drive to support young people prepare for and secure employment within the local community. Whatever your background, we will work with you to ensure you build and grow your career with APM and within our Transition to Work program.

To be considered, you will have...
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
