Lifecare is seeking a motivated Assistant Practice Manager / Reception Manager / 2nd In Charge to lead the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring a productive, professional, and welcoming environment for both staff and clients on a part-time or full-time basis.

You will be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient running of our clinic. You’ll foster strong relationships between allied health professionals and administrative staff, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, specialists, insurers, and community stakeholders.
  • Manage clinic budgets, financial reporting, and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and service delivery.
  • Ensure all WH&S requirements are met and risks are managed effectively.

What you will bring to the Team

  • Excellent customer service
  • Proven Experience working in a medical or mixed allied health clinic
  • Experience working with Zedmed or Nookal software, (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work shifts ranging between hours of 7.30am and 8.30pm weekdays, with flexibility to accommodate the clinics needs
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, multitasking abilities
  • People person, team player and looking forward to rostering, upskilling and training staff
  • Must enjoy a fast paced environment
