About the Role
This is a high‑energy, people‑focused role blending coaching, sales, community engagement and administration. Every day, you’ll help participants overcome barriers, build confidence, and secure sustainable employment.
You will:
Support participants with disability, injury or long‑term unemployment to become job‑ready
Actively market candidates to employers and uncover job opportunities
Build strong relationships with local Redfern and inner‑Sydney businesses
Coach participants through resumes, interviews, job search and training pathways
Advocate for inclusive hiring and negotiate employment opportunities
Drive employment outcomes through proactive engagement and business development
Success in this role comes from your ability to balance people support with outcome delivery and employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Build participant relationships to understand goals and prepare them for work
Coach job seekers to be competitive and confident
Create resumes and interview prep that set participants up for success
Generate new job opportunities through cold calls, employer visits and networking
Pitch candidates to employers with confidence and clarity
Negotiate job trials and wage subsidies to secure placements
Maintain employer relationships for repeat business
Achieve KPI targets across placements and engagement
Manage compliance and documentation in line with program standards
Celebrate wins to build participant motivation

About You
You are:
A confident communicator who builds rapport quickly
Experienced in sales, recruitment, business development, customer service or community services
Motivated by targets and outcomes
Resilient, organised and able to juggle multiple priorities
Passionate about helping people overcome barriers and succeed
