Occupational Therapist

About the role

Our homecare team at Lifecare is growing and as a result, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

This role is open to new/upcoming graduates or experienced clinicians.

You will be providing high-quality assessments and interventions to our clients to support independent living. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, planning, interventions and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting.

In this role you will be…

• Ensuring appropriate delivery of quality Occupational Therapy services tailored to the individual needs of the client and using a person-centred approach
• Conducting assessments and providing interventions to clients in their own home
• Engaging with other Case Managers, Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective client care
• Writing reports which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers
• Able to reflect our practice values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence in all that you do.
• Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP’s, community centre’s and other referrers.

Thinking about applying? Here's what we're looking for:

• Occupational Therapy degree, with General AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; and ability to work autonomously in the community
• An enjoyment of working with the older adult and adult disability demographics
• Full working rights in Australia
• Clean driver licence, access to own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or able to obtain.
• Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application.
