MZ Ndlovu recently moved from Western Australia to the US with the APM Group, making the most of the global opportunities that being part of APM can offer. As US Group Financial Reporting Manager, MZ has thrived in roles that balance commercial objectives with social impact.
Let’s hear a bit about you and career so far…
“My career has grown over the years from my first role in external audit at a small public accounting firm in Western Australia, through to auditing medium-to-large ASX listed companies, large private companies and local governments, and then into corporate finance.
I joined APM in 2022 in the Group Reporting team focusing primarily on the business combination accounting related to recent and ongoing acquisitions. My role evolved to supporting the APM-owned US group of companies more directly, and eventually moving to the US and joining the shared services team for US businesses grow.”
How has APM supported your career?
“APM has provided me the opportunity to gain experience in a range of interesting financial transactions including large business acquisition and the opening to practice and learn from a global business. I feel really fortunate to have been given the opportunity to move to the US and experience a truly global career pathway. The skills and knowledge we can share across the globe demonstrates the amazing trajectory that the APM Group is on.”
What do you enjoy about working at APM and your role?
“Meeting and working with people around the world who share a passion for helping and supporting others.”
What can you do at APM (personally or professionally) that you couldn’t do anywhere else?
“Personally, APM has provided the platform to gain international work experience and to build my network in a new market. Professionally, APM’s focus on social impact allows me to contribute to large-scale programs that directly improve the lives of many individuals.”
What’s one sentence to describe working at APM?

Do you have any advice for those interested in joining APM?
“Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where problem-solving, adaptability, and a passion for human services are key.
