Occupational Therapist - Lifecare Homecare Graduate Program

Lifecare Homecare provides allied health services to clients in their homes and we are seeking a Graduate Occupational Therapist to join our Homecare team.

You will receive on-the-job support, including buddy days with other therapists and supervision by our clinical leaders, and with on-the-job feedback, you will have the freedom to manage your schedule without being bound to an office. Your varied caseload will include NDIS, workers compensation and veterans' affairs.

Every day will look different at Lifecare Homecare... but as a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will be:

  • Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home
  • Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care
  • Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers
  • Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP’s, community centres and other referrers

What’s in it for you?

We want to take this opportunity to be a pivotal part of your first steps into the world of work, and your future career. We value our people, guaranteeing an attractive salary package with a host of other benefits to ensure you can flourish with Lifecare:

  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Generous travel payment on top of your remuneration
  • Access to purchase additional leave
  • Paid Parental Leave benefits.
  • Discounted Health Insurance
  • Discounted Fitness Membership
  • Additional employee benefits available through the APM group.
  • Ability to experience the various APM Group Health brands to broaden your skill set and career growth.

What we’re looking for in our future graduates:

We’re looking to bring on graduates who want to thrive in their career, by owning what you do and continuing to grow in a personal and professional manner.

We want enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who not only have a desire to thrive in their own careers, but they are ready to collaborate and bring fresh ideas to the wider team.

Your ability to communicate effectively, coupled with a keen eye for detail and core time management skills, will put you in a fantastic position to thrive within our team at Lifecare Homecare.

Now here’s the important bits... you need to:

  • Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Be eligible for AHPRA membership, upon graduating
  • Have graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
  • Agree to a pre-employment national criminal check, prior to employment
  • Have full Australian working rights
  • Hold a full drivers’ license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
