About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team on a 1 year Fixed-Term contract that could potentially get extended or made permanent. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on the Salesforce platform. If you have a passion for technology and problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable applications using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Optimise Salesforce through effective data architecture and custom development.
  • Maintain system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like MuleSoft.
  • Ensure consistent code versioning, testing, and deployment automation.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce release cycles and new features.
  • Implement process automation and data integrity improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, align delivery priorities with business objectives, escalate risks and blockers, engage in cross-functional teams, and support change management efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and improve development practices, collaborate to enhance workflows and reduce technical debt, establish internal standards and reusable components, suggest innovative ways to drive value from Salesforce, and identify and propose solutions to technical inefficiencies.
  • Professional Development: Engage in learning opportunities and maintain Salesforce certifications, share knowledge and best practices with the team, and stay informed of emerging technologies and development tools.

Capabilities and Experience:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience (Certified Salesforce.com Developer).
  • Experience in the Health industry or NFP preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Experience with Visualforce, Apex, and Salesforce data tools.
  • Success with Salesforce integration projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, JSON, XML, JavaScript, SQL, and SOAP-based web services.
  • Hands-on experience with the full SDLC.
  • Knowledge of Tableau CRM Analytics and Marketing Cloud.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience.
  • Preferred experience in RPA and middleware tools.
  • Salesforce Community Cloud experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Organised and efficient.
