Triage Nurse

Triage Nurse
Full Time Role – 76 hours/fortnight – working in an 8/6 roster
As a Triage Nurse your role is to connect with injured employees and their managers to support them through their workplace injury by offering injury triage, first aid advice, support and linking them into support services and resources available to them. You will be working in a Rapid Video Triage Team which is dedicated to providing personalised health management support and advice to employees who have sustained injuries at work. This is done by use of your clinical experience in a corporate work environment.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support during the initial stages of an injured employee's workplace injury and communicate advice in an engaging and sensitive way;
- Making referrals to treating practitioners within our treater network;
- Summarising medical information and liaising with treating practitioners;
- Making injured employees feel safe, supported and provide a friendly, customised experience with Biosymm’s Rapid Video Triage.
Please note, this role is a telephone and video-based support service.
The role is hybrid in nature and can be undertaken from home in conjunction with some days in either the Perth CBD office.
What you need
- Qualification as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- High attention to detail with highly organised and focused mindset
- Previous customer service or telephone/video based experience desirable
- Demonstrated empathy and passion when dealing with vulnerable customers
- Strong active listening skills
