As a Bid Writer you will work, as part of the centralised Tender Team, in a fast paced environment to develop compelling, high-quality content in submissions of bid documentation that showcase APM’s Mental Health and Wellbeing capabilities as part of the delivery of new business activities.
The Role:
As a Bid Writer, you will play a critical role in shaping our business growth by:
- Writing content for tender responses, ensuring all information is relevant, well-structured and aligned with the tender and business requirements.
- Proofreading and editing bid responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop compelling, tailored content.
- Monitoring the Tender inbox and Tender portal/s, distributing content in a timely manner to key stakeholders, taking note of submission requirements, including key due dates and communicating these to the relevant stakeholders.
- Maintaining and updating the Bid library.
We’re Looking For a Writer Who:
- Holds qualifications in Journalism, Business, Communications or other relevant disciplines and ideally is a member of APMP
- Brings 2+ years’ experience in bid writing in government and commercial sectors,
- Has the ability to accurately edit others written material and craft clear, concise and engaging content and has experience in the use of generative AI
- Has strong project management, coordination and time management skills
- Can interpret technical and operational information for diverse audiences.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment but also has a high degree of self-motivation
- Is adaptable to changing timelines and focus.
- Demonstrates strong influencing, negotiating and stakeholder engagement ability.
- Possesses advanced Microsoft Office and document formatting skills.
