Locum Team Leader
Locum Team Leader – Early Start Australia (Fannie Bay, NT)
Early Start Australia is seeking an experienced Locum Team Leader to join our vibrant Fannie Bay clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior allied health professional to step into a leadership role supporting a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality early intervention and paediatric therapy services.
About the Role
As the Locum Team Leader, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring best‑practice, evidence‑based services for children and their families. You’ll oversee a team of therapists and allied health assistants, offer clinical supervision, drive operational performance, and maintain excellence across therapy delivery, compliance, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support therapists through supervision, caseload reviews, and performance development.
- Deliver high‑quality clinical services, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Ensure high standards of documentation, service agreements, consent, reporting, and WHS compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with families, referrers, community partners, and external providers.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Psychology.
- AHPRA registration or relevant professional membership.
- Strong clinical expertise with experience in paediatric or early‑intervention therapy.
- Proven leadership capability within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organisational and report‑writing skills.
- Current WWCC/WWVP, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, and driver’s licence.
