We're on the hunt for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant team in Albany, Auckland. If you have experience in vocational rehabilitation, pain management or concussion, we want to hear from you!
About the role
Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.
Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)
- Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis
- Knowledge of vocational services pathways
Pain Management Service (PMS)
- Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
- Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
- Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches
Concussion Service
- Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
- Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
- Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team

What you’ll bring

- High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a spectrum of client needs

- Proven ability to deliver client-centered rehabilitation in community
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
- At least 2 years’ experience working within vocational rehabilitation services, pain and/or concussion services
