We're on the hunt for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant team in East Tamaki, Auckland. If you have experience in pain management and/or concussion, we want to hear from you!
About the role
Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.
Pain Management Service (PMS)
- Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
- Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
- Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches
Concussion Service
- Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
- Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
- Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team

- Use your clinical expertise to support clients in homes, workplaces, and communities — no two days are the same

What you’ll bring
- A drive to make a difference and deliver outstanding care
- High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a spectrum of client needs

- Proven ability to deliver client-centered rehabilitation in community
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
- At least 2 years’ experience working within pain and concussion services
